"There are ten pictures within ten feet of where you're sitting right now." - 365 Project, Day 161

R.E.M. is better known for 'Losing My Religion' and 'Man on the Moon', but even if they're not in the limelight anymore, they still do make music (and, inexorably, music videos).  In 2001, they released 'Imitation of Life', and its video.  The video, showing a backyard party (with a completely stationary camera), takes place over only a 4-to7-second time period and keeps playing forwards and backwards through the entire video, zooming in on different things happening in that frame.  In any one scene, many different things are going on.

All that's need to make this title statement true is to look around.  A photographer's eye just needs you find an interesting angle.  Just shoot something you like, or something that is different.  I've mentioned this before, but every day, life happens, and all it takes is the press of a button to capture all the nice things happening around you.

Today's pictures.

This is probably one of the more snapshotty shots I've taken, but I just had to post this.  I know Canada can be cold, but I've never experienced anything close to that temperature, especially in August.

Onto tomorrow!
