"Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst."

As far as intros go, this is going to be utter garbage (as evidenced by the post title), mostly because I'm trying to figure out how Blogspot works and all its features.  I'm also not going to be updating anything for a week or so, until I start this thing proper.

What I can tell you is I will use this blog, at the outset, as a 365 Project page.  A few friends and I have decided to go ahead with this, and the pictures will be put up here.  This is how this page will start, and who knows what will happen during the next year or so.  I'm thinking I'll start posting things on March 1st, and I believe this should give me enough time to figure Blogspot out.

For those who don't know, the 365 Project goes something like this: take pictures, everyday, pick your favorite and put it up for everybody to see.  There are websites dedicated to this, and I'm just link one here, given it's the site's name.  The main reason for doing this, apart from being a time waster - and a fun time waster (assuming you like taking pictures) - is to become a better photographer, and get you to look at the world from different angles.  It may also encourage you to do things that you might not normally do.  This also takes dedication and a fair chunk of daily time that could be spent sleeping and such.  I imagine that for the moment I have enough time to upload pictures daily and come up with lame quips and stories about the pictures being uploaded.  Whether or not this lasts a year is up to life and things that get in its way.

None of my friends, or I, for that matter, are professional photographers, and so consequently there will be a lot of photos of questionable quality and artistic value (mostly, I assume, contributions from myself).  And with this, I end my rambling and leave you to go read other ramblings.
