Everyday life happens. People are happy, people are sad, perhaps something dramatic, or mundane. Photographers try to capture this in their own way, whether trying to sell something, or simply show something. There's something special in mundane shots. They show real life. They may not be special, but then again, life is not special, either. All we can do is enjoy what we have, and try to capture the moments that make us smile.

His note: Went for a walk close to home today because it was a beautiful day and spotted this. Not an artistic photo but it did bring up the thought of old abandoned houses and how some people are less fortunate than others. I guess the same applies to birds?
