"Digital makes photography interesting because everyone thinks they can take a picture." - 365 Project, Day 219

Beethoven completely lost his hearing by the time he was 44, though he'd started losing his hearing some 16 years prior.  That stopped him from performing in public, but it didn't stop him from composing.  Given that he could still hear the music in his head, it sounded the same when played.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said if a photographer goes colourblind, or loses vision.  A fair amount of tweaking can be done with the various sliders and numbers of editing programs, but every picture is different and unless you know exactly what you took, there's no way to get the picture looking perfect.  However, there are blind photographers around, and they do find ways to take pictures.  It's amazing how ingenuity and passion can overcome any obstacle.

This is what we took today.

Frank

His note: Light in the doctor's office.  Stranger colour but the light rays were actually white, not blue.

Shannon

Her note: The drain in the kitchen sink.

My picture

I found this scene a bit funny.  Four students sitting cross-legged in front of a tree, drawing it.  I would hope they're all art students.  On second thought, I would actually enjoy this even more if they're along the lines of law students or English majors.  My friend said she's seen the same idea with photography students, only they were, well, photographing something.

I am ready for tomorrow.
